Learn about the importance of the Census to our area and our state! Results impact our representation in Congress as well as distribution of federal funds and availability of grants.

Guest speakers will include a pharmacist, a nurse, an attorney for bankruptcy and a physicians' assistant.

Judges Johnson, LaCross, and Mack will explain the responsibilities of the different courts, and answer questions from the audience

Alpena, MI 49707		 "We Can Do It" - Celebration of Women's History Month. We are partnering with the Alpena County Library to celebrate Women's History Month in our community. The film "We Can Do It" about the accomplishments of Michigan Women will be running continuously on the 2nd floor of the library.
Tuesday, March 9, 2010 12 noon Alpena Co. Library, Stillion Conference Room "Iron Jawed Angels" (Women's History Month Event). Story of the fight for voting rights for women is portrayed - bring a lunch if you like.
Monday, March 15, 2010 7 pm Alpena Co. Library, Stillion Conference Room "Women in the Arts" (Women's History Month Event). Presentation by Karen Magness-Eubank, Ph.D., writer and teacher.
